Scuba Diving
Scuba dive and snorkel on the world famous reefs just off our shore, where the fish and coral are beautiful and abundant. One can choose from four dive shops. We highly recommend diving with Henri and Pilu. They are superb instructors and have dived these waters for years. Click here for their site.
Swim and Surf
You will find white sand beaches and often there’s not another soul around. Clear blue waters provide great swimming. World-class surfing is available at Nine Palms just 40 minutes away.
Hike or Mountain Bike
There are 30 miles of marked and well-kept paths for both hiking and mountain biking. Bikes are available for rent in town.
Kayaks and Whale Watching
To kayak out towards the reef is a wonderful way to get a close-up view of our flying manta rays, schools of jacks, and sea lions. Whale watch boat trips are available. Humpback whales arrive in February as mothers bring their babies to learn to fish. There are wonderful displays as these huge visitors playfully leap out of the water or flap their tails and fins.

Windsurfing and wind kiting are available at the neighboring town of Las Barrilles.
Birdwatching provides a wild display of seabirds and desert birds. Bring binoculars and cameras.
Or visit the waterfall and swimming hole plus a wilderness hot spring in the surrounding mountains.
Restaurants
There are 5 restaurants in Cabo Pulmo - all in easy walking distance from the house. El Caballero Restaurant and Tito's sell a few grocery items as well.
